Visiting on a beautiful May day, the photos shown here accurately depict the tranquility of the park. Unfortunately, the photos do not depict the permeating stench of several nearby cattle farms. The overwhelming, eye-watering smell of cow manure forced us to cut short our hike and visit to the Cheam Lake Wetlands, as well as several other trails in the eastern Frasier Valley that day.
