Access to the Widgeon Creek campsite is by canoe or kayak only from Grant Narrows. There is a boat launch at Grant Narrows as well as a canoe rental shop that can rent for overnight trips. Campers can set up their tents in one of ten camping spaces or on the grassy area that is used for overflow. There is a pit toilet located next to the campsite, however no other facilities are available.
There are currently no camping fees for the Widgeon Creek Campsite and reservations cannot be made. Check with BC Parks for any changes.
Campers can hike for about 45 minutes to Widgeon Falls, a series of waterfalls that offer a great place to relax on the rocks in the sunshine. It is also possible to hike all the way to Widgeon Lake which is popular for fishing.
