Cultus Lake is the most popular camping area near Vancouver. Located in the town of Chilliwack, BC, just over an hour and a half east of Vancouver, the Cultus Lake area has four campsite areas: the Clear Creek Campground, the Delta Grove Campground, the Entrance Bay Campground, and the Maple Bay Campground. Each campsite has a wide variety of facilities including pit toilets, showers, drinking water, a boat launch, and picnic areas.
Each of the four campsites have different opening and closing dates but range from being open at the end of March until mid-October. During the off season, the gates are locked to the campgrounds. Reservations are available during the late spring and summer months and reservations should be made well in advance as campsites tend to fill up quickly.
There are many activities around Cultus Lake including swimming, hiking, horseback riding, water skiing, canoeing, fishing, and cycling. There are other nearby activities such as go-karts, waterslides, paintball, and much more.
